Default Hard drive problems????

I think my puter at home puked! Got home from vacation and the thing is booting up and shutting down over and over all by its self......anyone know the tech line # for Dell? The dang thing was shut down when we left but the dog sitter may have checked her email and picked up a bug......

Cool A good thing to remember...

...is that the failure rate on hard drives is 100%.

Backup often.

Does it by any chance say something like "Remote Protocol Connection(RPC) Error" and then give you a 60-second warning before it shuts down???

Mine started doing that last night for no good reason.

I start up and after about 3 minutes or so, the above message pops and automatically shuts down after the 60 seconds are up...WTF??
