Need an OSO Favor from San Mateo, CA; please.
 

My Brother-in-law is looking to surprise my Sister by buying her a slightly used BMW 3 Series Coupe. Before I get a barage of "buy this one over here;" it has to be exactly like this one below.

Coupe, 325, 328, or 330.
2000 or newer
Stick
Sunroof
Saddle leather interior
MUST BE SIENNA RED!!!! (no exceptions)
MUST BE PRISTINE!!!!
Convertible considered for right price, maybe even 323 'vert.

We have located one, in San Mateo California. We are on the opposite coast. If someone could take a look at this car, from and un-biased perspective, we would be so appreciative, and will send you something along the lines of dinner for you and your significant other. (In case you S/O is a sheep, we will come up with some other alternative :D :D .)

This one we have found, (one of few with above specs in the country), looks nice in pictures, but we would like someone to check it personally; i.e.:

-check the sides for straightness and dings
-check the body panel seams for uniform separation
-check all the panel jams for paint lines and overspray
-check the undercarriage for overspray
-check the frame for scratches, (towed or on a frame straightener)
-check the color on the whole car in the sunlight for color uniformity
-drive it and check the brakes, tires, and alignment
-anything else you would see/notice, that would keep you from taking it home for yourself.

You will not be held to your findings or opinions, he justs wants ammo to chew them down on price over the phone, and don't want to buy completely blind. We know there are a couple slight scratches on the passenger door and hood.

The car is at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo.

We will also need it transported back to VA. Anyone with leads/deals on shipment, will be contacted for a quote should he purchase the car.

I also have to say: I had my Dad do this for Jspeedemon from WV, on a Z06 in Chicago, and JSpeedemon could not have been nicer, and sent my Pop $50 bucks.

I love having OSO around do pull and do favors like this.

Thanks for the info. That is the bright red one, and she has her heart set on the Sienna Red, more like auburn; above, (she has red hair to match it, and her first car that died was same color).
That's a sharp car though.
