Extreme Boat Mag - Who got em this month
We'd really like to hear your thoughts and comments about the magazine's content and direction.
You'll notice that we're trying to carve out our own niche by showcasing the performance boating lifestyle. I think this is the angle that will allow us to seperate ourselves from Powerboat and Hotboat. I subscribe to both of these fine mags but how many times can you say the same thing in a different way?
Please let us know if you think we're going in the right direction or to fill a void in marine jounalism.
Thanks

I got mine last week. I like it so far. I'm esp glad to see some different faces. and different articles.
And I don't see the same guy testing every boat himself. And I don't see the same guy testing every boat himself. And I don't see the same guy testing every boat himself. And I don't see the same guy testing every boat himself.
Keep it fresh and keep it new.

Got mine. I think the new outer cover will ensure they get where theyre going. In one piece even!
I've noticed a nice improvement between issues 1 and 3 (never got 2). The only rough spot remaining seems to be the proofreading (ex: pitot tube was spellchecked into pilot tube in joe's tech article).
What i really like is the fact that this mag seems to be focusing on what we do with our boats, both on the water and off. I can read a new boat review anywhere, but getting a look at the people behind the boats is interesting. The tech articles seem to be written from a point of view of how many of us would work on ourr boats. I'll be subscribing for sure. Great Daytona article Ron!
