Whoa yeah---that's a big one! Where was the picture taken? Looks like it might be a Brown Recluse. They have a poisoness, nasty bite!
It's a hunting or preditory type of spider and they start coming into strutures/homes during the evenings as it gets a little colder into the Fall.

By the way, close to the Fall are when all kinds of insects, spiders and mice start invading structures and around now is a good time to start doing some treating around the exterior of your homes as the evenings get cooler. Puting glue board/traps down on the floor works well on those kinds of spiders like in the basement and or near doors, sliders and in garages. Keep the weeds and tall grass trimmed around your house as well cuz now is the time they start heading for your home and wanting to find a way in!

I found this one while harvesting peaches off my peach tree.
I jumped CLEAN OUT OF MY SKIN . . .
Had to go back in the house to get a towel, because all my internal organs were now on the outside. I could then creep back out into the yard to recover my skin, which was lying in a heap on the ground.
