Question Anyone heard about an Ohio River Poker Run at Louisville?

A friend of mine was telling me that there is supposed to be some kind of poker run on the Ohio River this weekend (8/23) starting at Captain's Quarters in Louisville and heading north. Have any of you Ohio River boaters heard about this? Any details you can provide? I know they had one up in Cinci back in July, but this is apparently a different froup of folks.

Thanks,

There is a poker run but not a "performance boat" poker run. I think it will mostly be cruisers and runabouts.

Ooohhh. That explains why I haven't heard anything about it here. Oh well, it would be my chance to be one of the faster boats in a poker run!

Any idea where I can get some details? I have a couple of friends who have cruisers, and they have expressed an interest.

Budman,
Call Captain's Quarters (502-228-5447 or 502-228-1651). I saw the banner but don't remember the details. Sorry...

A4 - Yeah, we were there. Stayed the night at Watertown. Had a good time. Took us FOREVER to get back through the lock yesterday...

I think I saw that Skater (Ogre) down near the lock yesterday. Not positive, because he was pretty far away.

Cool....

I was out yesterday evening, so was Itllfli. There were a couple of big Sonics and Farley's Ocean Express. The 38 Sonic has about 1,000 hp per side and runs upper 90's....sweet boat.

Glad you had fun, catch ya next time...

We were probably already gone when you guys came out. We stopped and had breakfast at Mike Fink's (i think it's still called that) and headed south around noon.

I actually caught the biggest air ever in my boat north of Watertown Saturday night. I was rolling wfo and hit some huge rollers and it felt like I launched 10 ft out of the water!!! I doubt it was 10, but it felt like 20....
