Thunder 32, you are way off. Your 500efi 33 will be an honest 85mph boat all day long, with fuel and some people aboard. 496HO will be over 81 mph.

how about 31 American Offshore... i have one with 496 mag HO's that runs 90's gps. handles the water well.. great cruiser... room for people.. awesome boat all around.

Thanks for the ride this weekend. I can't say enough about how your AO handled the rough water. I expected to get hammered but even at slow speeds it landed softly and at 80+ the ride was great. Peggy didn't even complain so it had to be good. If it was 7' longer we would be talking a deal.

The way Lake Michigan has been this year, I need good in the rough. I could be happy with 105 mph.
