Question Cleveland or Grand Haven

I can't decide where to take the family this weekend, what do you guys think?? My 3 year old son loves to boat so I have to keep him in mind also.

Grand haven is a BEUTIFUL area. Lots aof other marinas around there. That would be my vote. And the race is a bonus.

This is a good air show, with the Blue Angles and a bunch of other cool Aircraft.

Something to think about in Cleveland.

Remember the power outage and all of the raw sewage that was flowing into the lake? Nasty!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh....nothing like raw sewage in Lake Erie. It actually wasn't too much though--I think it was 7 million gallons. Seems like a lot, but it's substantially less than what overflows during large rain storms. I wouldn't drink any of the water, but it's safe to swim in about 2 days afterwards. Much cleaner outside of the breakwall though.

Swimming in the water near any of the old midwest cities is no different (Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit).

Now that everyone is freaked out about swimming in Lake Erie.....both Grand Haven and Cleveland are going to be a blast this weekend. The Blue Angels and the other jets have been doing the usual fly by's throughout the city all day. How much would that job rock?

I'm opting for the road trip to Grand Haven...had a great time last year and look forward to it again.
