Throttle Up
Has a couple?
Can you PM back answers please?
What does it take to test your props?
What is the testing price?
How much for Hydromotives 28 or 30's?
Specs are as follows:
1999 Advantage 28' Sportcat
Twin stick 502's. Only add on is Vortec K/N air cleaners.
Weight is an approx. 5200-5400Lbs dry
Stock 1.5 LWP bravo 1's
Currently turning 28 bravo 1's
Never had anything done to the props or engines.
Able to bump the rev limiters 90% of the time.
High humidity of course makes it impossible.
Hitting speeds of 87-89 with no weight and less then 20 of fuel. Factory reported a best of 91 3 years ago. But no verification.
Average of 79-82 with average to high weight and people aboard.
Semi hard to plan would like better.
Two things I want, even if it I have to have two sets of props.
I would like one set for great hole shot. Current lake has lots n lots of no-wake zones.
Also would like a high-speed set of props.
Current ones surface all around running as they are still in great shape.
So I am mostly on the hunt for a High speed set.
To conclude; How long to get a pair send to Minnesota?
How long would I have to test?
How many sets do you allow to test before buying?
Do I HAVE to purchase one even if the testing does not prove to meet my goals?
Last, after testing do I buy the tested set or do you have test props then NEW props?
Thanks, Hugh

We broke a blade on a prop just before the Daytona race this year. Throttle Up made us a replacement and delivered it to us in Daytona the day before the race. Great service.

Thanks guys for the positive word.
And thanks for the phone #
I talked with Julie yesterday about the boat and my prop needs and goals.
She is looking into getting a set of hydro's fitted for my standard bravos.
I look forward to doing some testing in the next couple months before winterizing
Time will be tight, but would like to get things worked out by nov 1
