Whne you are coming this way on 80/94 take the SR 35 exit North to toward the lake. About 3 miles and you will see the Micgigan City marine. There is a lot of rack in out storage and some great ramps. I think the fee is $5-7.
It;s across Trail Creek from the Bue Chip Casino. It also would be just South of Route 12 but I think it would be easiest to take 80/94 |
thanks payton!!!

It is right across the creek from the Blue Chip casino on Michigan Blvd.
The launches are decent and cost $10 to launch. It is about a 10 minute idle down the creek from the launch to the lake. |
Does that launch ramp now have longer docks??? The last I knew the docks they have at that launch are super short----they don't really accomodate a boat much beyond 20 feet! Does anyone know for sure?
|
Kaama your YELLA!!!!!!we dont need no stinking docks!!! you jump in and I'll dump you in!!
|
I'm telling you, they are super short docks at that ramp, but maybe things have changed. I will probably launch in New Buffalo---it's only about 7 miles north of Michigan City---if I go. :D

Dyno,
If lake conditions look good,we'll be launching from New Buffalo around 8:30-9:00 Saturday. It's a fairly decent launch, and usually deserted at that time of day.If I remember correctly it's $10.00 bucks to lauch a boat 36'and under and $25.00 over 36.... And you're right, that YELLA boat probably won't show up!!! Steve |
Steve,
Crazyhorse,SuperV and I are leaving Holland at 9:00 that puts us in the ramp at around 11 our time. Thats the plan as of now..... |
Dyno, I ran the numbers through the gps and it's 40 statute miles from Michigan City to Diversy. Does that work for you and SuperV?
