16 Glastron.... factory modified for racing.... That meant extra glass...and thicker stringers.
There are guys today who'd kill for that attack angle and "hang"....... and she'd do that all day..with a skilled hand on the wheel...... after all both engines were right hand rotation........ try that sometime, all you vee bottom aces.

Those twin short shaft 1000's would be perfect for the Wing, too bad you don't have them. Bob Hammond was an absolute pioneer and we were happy to sell Glastrons for 30 years. Amazingly the current Glastron hulls are pretty close to the early 60's designs and still run great. We were at the Glastron 40 year reuinion in 1996 and visited a lot of guys that shaped the current state of our industry,Bob Hammond,Mel Whitley,Ernie Schmidt,Art Carlson, and many others that my bad memory can't call up. They were good times, thanks for the memory T2x

That's alright..... I believe one of you was being conceived in that cabin cruiser in the middle of the race course.
