Angry Insurance costs

I am wondering if anyone else experienced a double in their insurance premiums. Is there any insurance carrier that has reasonable cost insurance. I really need to find one. I have never made a claim, and still, it doubled from last year.

This is a constant source of heartburn around here. Many folks have posted their woes and several other organizations to try. They are several threads that will come up under a search of 'insurance' here in Gen. Disc.

Everyone has higher rates and they will continue to go up as long as people get killed, hurt, sue, and damages are done. They will slowly weed out the working man from this hobby/sport

I can understand a little increase here and there , but to double in one year, thats crazy. How do they justify an increase like that. I have had the same carrier since 1998 and i got just received my statement to renew and it was more than double since last years. Something must of happened in the past year. Some geek on a computer analyzing statistics. Can anybody give me some idea of where to get cheaper insurance.
