i always thought those were cool. anybody know if it is a unique hull or was it a splash from another boat (just qurious) . i remember seeing a 40 somthing tempest in an add in the 80's and it had 5 outboards on it this one looks like a pretty good deal as the reserve was met with a 12k bid.

I've sent the seller an email to inspect the boat. If it's truly in Bonner Springs, it's close to me. I might be interested myself or I could definately look it over for someone.

Let me know if anyone's interested.

Hello,
I recently joined here and came across this thread. I bought the boat! I was trying to enter a bid and got in a second too late. Disappointed(my bid was a few thousand more then sale price)I immediateley fired off an e-mail that if the deal fell through I would give a thousand more. Well a few weeks later I dumped the boat from my e-bay assuming I would never hear anything. The NEXT morning I got up and drove to KC to get a motor for my truck and right back. Less than a hour after getting home I got a call the boat was mine if I wanted!!! Needless to say I slapped a stamp on a deposit so fast.... The boat was 5 miles from Kansas Speedway so went and saw it while up for the fall race.(Had to wait for Dennis to remove his power) I got everything and if you ever get a chance to deal with Dennis(the E-Bay seller)don't hesitate! The boat has ONE rip in All the upholstery. Originally from Florida and living in Kansas I'll be heading to the bigger lakes and will ofcourse take it home to Pensacola this summer. I'm in process of installinhg two new 450 horse 502 crate motors and thinkng how long winter is going to be walking by the boat in the shop waiting for the first ride. So don't give up, waht's meant to be will happen.
Sorry so long winded and still looking for info and any and all help will be much appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Don

Funny, I remember that boat and I almost bought it but it was just to far for me.

You got a great deal. Good Luck.
