It is 38' with a 13' beam. He said it runs around $30,000 coming from Singapore.

Airfreight ???

By 747 direct from Hong Kong to JFK palatized (less than 10' high) would be close to $70,000 +/-, but we could have it here this week. Let me know if it is rush or can wait etc. The price can change drastically depending on schedule, loading etc. We fly 747 freighters that can carry a total gross weight of 836,000#s. Let me know.....

Go to yachtworld and get a quote. I believe a division of FedEx ships boats around the world on that site. Likely cost you more than $30.00 for overnight delivery though. <gg>

Hey Becca, I was up at Greenwood Lake airport a couple of weeks ago and the word is that NJ is selling the airport to private investors.

While the initial plans sound good, with lots of extra hangers (YaY) I hope it does not turn into condos! Heard anything about that yet?

I saw a 38' Fountain with diesels over there . Asking $65k. Sounds like a good deal if I didn't have to ship it . I can buy it now anyway . If anyone wants it , I think it was on yatchworld.com . Thanks for the info everyone .

Hi Becca !;)

Not sure if this would work but what if you could use a 40' high cube and rotate the boat 90 degrees?? Labor is very reasonable and if I had to guess they would simply tip over the box slide in the boat and build a cradle and flip it back up. I would invest in a hotwire ticket to HK when they do though. I have a 40'HQ in route to Detroit right now and my freight is 5K. Will be in HK next month as well and might have a free afternoon to look if it is in the Kowloon/HK area.

First of all, a 747 freighter is not an option, unless big money is an option....... FACT - a 747 freighter holds about 220,000 Kilos which = 500,000 Lbs.

I run a charter operation from HKG to JFK with 7 flights a week. for numerous VIP accounts in North America.

Also I have service agreements with steamship lines.

If you are serious about this move, I would like to discuss.

Pls call me at 917-681-2029 John. Thanks.
