I dont doubt that you ran the RX7. I know mine was fast. But I definately want a manual car. More fun when you can rev it up then dump the clutch into first. I dont recommend doin this often but it is fun every so often.

Yes the early year cars tend to be more problematic. The old style techno digital gauges had problems and are very expensive to repair if you can find somebody to fix them. You usually have to buy a rebuild but there is no guarantee on life of a rebuild.

If I remember right one of the Corvette part co.'s like Mid America was advertising a rebuilt dash for $350.00 with the core of your old dash but this is going back about 4 or 5 years....Matt

Also, '86 would be a better car as it had the wheels with no black centers, a fatter steering wheel, the third brakelight, and some (all?) had aluminum heads and made something like 5 more horse over the 85's....Matt

The very most that you should pay for this car is $10,000 and that's if you really, really like it. It is not going to appreciate in price, it will only go down from here depending on how fast you put the miles on it.

Below are actual auction prices. These are not estimates or book prices. They are as I stated, actual sales across the country.
