Why did the race date change from the week of 17th thru the 23rd to the week before?

Thats what I mean I can't just get that week off now I already had a large group with approved annual leave for the other week to make matter even WORSE!:hothead:

I'mj ust done for a while with trying to catch a race in person:mad:

This may be a dumb question, and it may have been already asked, but I haven't seen it -
Why the need for a promoter like Lee Mills in KW? Couldn't APBA Offshore just work directly with the Mayor's office, the city council, or the KW Chamber of Commerce? After all, it's the local businesses that stand to benefit from the worlds being held there, so wouldn't it be in there best interests to pay the fees?
