336SR? Good or Bad????
I've been looking at this for an upgrade next season. Any comments on this? I've got a 25' now, so it would be the next step-up. Handling?, Enough HP? Good rough water hull? Good deal?http://www.southshoredrydock.com/cor...hshoredrydock&

I have a friend that has a deal that can beat it. It is a 96 model with 500 H.P.'s, hydraulic steering, gaffrig instrumentation, a new trailer that has only been wet twice, and the boat only has 100 hours on it. he would sell it for 100k. Plus his has much better graphics on it. You might want to at least check this one out before buying that one!!!!!

336 deal
Very nice looking boat but too much $$$ for the performance and equipment it has. No external hydraulic steering, very mild engines, and more. Great boat but there are lot's in offshoreonly classifieds that are much better deal for the performance and look.

Formula was always on the top of my list of great boats. However, last week I had to do some work on my buddy's '01 353 Fastec. I had to fish some wires through the side cabnets in the cockpit. I stuck my head in to grab the wires and saw 1 1/2" of stacked washers on the stud for the grab rail. Looking around, every other bolt coming through the interior side had stacks of washers on them. I don't know about anyone else but this kind of crap really get's me. Was the person doing the assembly really too lazy to spin the lock nut all the way down the stud?
