Does anyone know the history behind this boat, where were they made, who made them, they look like a splash off a Powerplay.

I think that Thundercraft made a boat called the Magnum Espress in the 80's. Vee boat. I have had a few clients in Canada with them.

my brother has a 24' Magnum Express....great running boat...I have it listed in Boats For Sale...
he bought it as a hull-only project...rigged it himself, twin 2.4's on a bracket..skater buckets & console, hydraulic steering, Bobs goodies, etc..etc....
hauls azz!!...
