I heard both Tim's restaurants got hit hard. Tim's one lost the dock and is flooded badly. Not sure about Tim's II but heard it was gone. Still not sure about that.???
I also heard the Marinas in Neabsco Creek took a big hit. E Z Cruise the hardest. Boats ashore, on the bottom sorta thing. A 50 footer came loose and wrecked havoc on everything else. If any OSOers in Northern VA/Southern MD need any help with their boats, don't hesitate to ask.

Default I guess Tim's II is OK

An e-mail from tim's

CRABMAN NEWS: "Tim's was trashed by ISABEL" Edition, September 19, 2003

ISABEL DAMAGED THE RIVERSHORE...BAD!
In spite of all of Tim's efforts throughout the night the Hurricane
trashed the Rivershore and it could be a couple of weeks before it will
reopened. Here is the damage I know about. The Pier is gone, Timbuck 2
is all but lost, the tiki bar is 3' lower and most of that area is gone,
the boardwalk that goes to oyster bar is way up in the parking lot, the
oyster bar is just "gone". The main building is also flooded and Tim
said the place looked like it was "alive" during the worst part of it as
it breathed and fought against the storm will all it had. Tim said he
will do whatever he can to get it back together for you all but until
then please do not go down to take a look because you may just be in the
way and possibly in danger from the debris.

ROAR AT THE SHORE WILL BE AT TIM'S II at FAIRVIEW BEACH
This years Roar at the Shore will be down at Tim's II because of damage
mentioned above. If you want to show Tim and the guys how much you care
about them and the Rivershore please join us at Tim's II next weekend
for the Annual End of the Season Party. Tim will be glad to see you and
I'm sure you want to offer him kind words of support. As always Guy and
Dave and Tommy will make us all feel very welcome and as always this
event is a "must see" event. Also we will still hold the "Miss
Rivershore" contest so if you are a cutie or know a cutie get signed up
or just come on down and try and win that $500.

CONTACT TIM THROUGH ME IF NEEDED
With the power gone and the place trashed who knows when they will get
an answer machine set up but please don't call unless you are one of the
repair people. I will let you know through the email and the Tim's site
as to what is going on and I will get Tim to get me pictures or I will
get and post some for you as soon as it is safe to do so.

If you've never seen a Pirate cry you are not looking at me right now.
My heart is broken for my friend and all of his hard work and my
thoughts and prayers go out to Tim. I hope you are all safe and well and
I'll keep posted as to what I know as I learn more.

For Tim and all the crew at the Rivershore thanks for the thoughts and
prayers and we will see you again at the Rivershore as soon as possible.

My neighborhood sounded like a huge construction site today.

eMotiondriver--ditto

ShahMat--ahhhhh, i could have used ya got most of the stuff off of the roof and out of the yard, the rest is for the professionals.

Oh yeah, going to do a buyer beware for everyone. Called State Farm at 8am and about noon today they said they would have someone out shortly, well its almost 9pm so I know I wont hear from anyone till at least monday.

Ok, left the house, this is what we had to deal with, no lie, about a 1/4 of a mile of nothing but citizens cutting trees out of the way.
