Cru,
are you talking about Sean or John?? I barely fit in my bolster thanks to Sapporo.......
Movin,
the money issue comes into play more in the offshore enviroment where the waves are pounding and the ability to haul ass in the stuff is more important. I know a couple of these guys will run hard in small boats in the swells but I gotta tell ya that "Jokers Wild" is unstoppable in 6 foot plus. He actually goes alot faster getting air under that thing!! He also was running with part of his prop missing.....Sean is hardcore!! Besides, if he breaks it Cruboss will fix it and you may also find Keith in there too!!!

This thread also brings up what was the only problem I saw with this poker run...there is no incentive to hit all the stops. At the first stop, we picked up a menu? nothing at the 2nd and 3rd stops..other than someone waving at us and the fifth stop a business card.
After the 2nd stop several boats I was running with bypassed the 3rd stop and went right over to the 4th stop..the Outback lunch stop.
It would be better to be picking cards at each stop and getting your poker hand that way instead of drawing at the end during the evening event. At least it would give you an incentive to hit all the stops and penalize those who don't.

I totally agree we made the run all the way to Palatka or how ever you say it. And found out that there was no fuel there this year . The people that skipped that stop got the same chances to win that I did and did not have to burn all of the fuel. Plus by the time we got to restaurant everyone else was already there.
