Here is an email that I received with pictures. A bit gross, but abosolutely unbelievable!!!

I think the pictures should tell the story better then I ever could. Here goes...

"THIS GUY WAS DRIVING INTERSTATE 44 IN ST. LOUIS TO WORK FROM BALLWIN AND MADE IT TO HAMPTON WHEN HE HEARD A POP. IT SOUNDED LIKE A FLAT TIRE SO HE STOPS. HE OPENS THE HOOD AND JUMPED A MILE. THIS IS WHAT WAS MAKING THE NOISE!!

FOUND THIS DAY 9/3/03 AT FRANK LETA ACURA."

And I'll bet you thought someone had swapped a V-10 Viper motor into an Acura!!!:D :D :D

Looks like a python. They're attracted to the warmth of the engine. In the north during winter it's common to see cats trashed under the hood, mostly by the engine fans while siting in the fan shroud.

The cats where I lived on Long Island were a real problem at times in the winter months. I used to check under my hood every morning before going down to the boat to see what was hiding under there. One morning I didn’t check because I was running late………….BAM. There went my radiator, shroud, fan, belt…………….and the calico from down the street. Talk about being pissed off at 4:30 in the morning. Damn cat cost me about $400.00 between repairs and a lost day on the bay I could have worked.
