The sphere on the compass in my boat had cracked, and I was looking for a replacement last year. I called Ritchie to see which one of their models would drop in to the hole the old one came out of. They suggested I send in the old one to be refurbished. I did. They sent it back looking like new and I believe the total was under $200. (This is a 5" flush mount model.) I was pretty happy.

Fast forward to this year -- Some of the fluid inside had leaked out. I sent it back to them and asked that it be refilled. They refurbished it again -- paint and all -- and sent it back no charge and postage paid. Again... I am pretty darn happy.
