I see a prosperos future for myself.

I know the salesman and the car dealership as well. I work 1 block from there. I can tell you this That car is long gone. They have a showroom floor that would make Jay leno's mouth water. All I can say is that the neighborhood where this place is, is all HUGE MEGA BUCKS $$$

The thing that strikes me odd is a dealership near my house that sells Lambo's doesn't even let you test drive them until you pay for it and if you don't want it they return your money

Amazing that someone wouls steal such a rare car. It's only (1)of 349 in the world. Also very, very limited market for parts. Probably
in a container now heading for far east, russia,or South America.
Car will be listed next month in "Bogata Auto-Trader" for sale, rare F-50, low miles........

I was there today seems it was a good job from what they are saying well thought out Russia is their best guess.

The thing that stikes me so damn funny is the insurance co. should insist on Lo-jack on a car like that Plain n simple No Lo-jack No Insurance

Here is a true story of a stupid car thief. About 12 or so yrs ago, someone broke in our carlot, pretty much had their pick of whatever car they wanted, and took the keys and stole a Chevette. Now here is the best part. We were getting reports that people were seeing this car running around town. He actually drove this car around a couple days till he was caught. What a dumbass! :D

Actually theft is not very bad on most exotics. The models with the highest rates are usually the most common. Much easier for a thief to cut-up & parts out. Whole different story with exotics, including Ferrari. Much more limited market for parts. Who's going to buy an F-50 engine. Better yet, try finding someone who even knows how to fix one.
The flip side is normally, when an exotic is gone, it's gone. They're not going to recover it after a joy ride by the boys in the hood.
Of course, there have been a number of great insurance scams over the years. One guy in england got caught after he reported a rare Ferrari stolen, and police found it cut up, and buried on his property.

well it was stolen on the 16th and wasn't let out to public until 10 days later on the 26th.

To me it makes way TOO MUCH sense that if it had a Lo-jack it probably would have been found and the ins co. wouldn't have to pay $$ out now, But then again if Lo-jack was on every car No cars would be stolen and then we wouldn't have to buy new 1's :D
