As much as I hate to 'conform' I would have to agree with the general consensus. Be upfront, there's just too much at stake.

You guys remember I think it was Kook? The guy the had the accident with his Sunsation? He had reported everything as accuratly as possible and the only mistake that he made was putting down Merc Power when it was a motor that Bruce Dudley made. He crashed and they tried to denie the claim.

If you added a cam or something like that I would say ya maybe but since you have added blowers and a CONSIDERABLE amount of speed then you will have to pony up.

Just reviewed by policy underwritten by ACE American. Essentially, policy contains endorsement that any modifications VOIDS coverage.

Strong advice. Read policy and talk to your broker/agent.

My opinion is better to deal with increase premium than a denied claim.

A few years ago on the board there was a story of a boat called 4 of a kind Big outerlimits with surface drives The way the story wet stock 500hp were replace with 4 x 1000 HP. Had a picture of boat standing on the bottom with just bow above water (full reverse when close to a dock sucked transom down)
The insurance company supposedly walked from a $250k claim
