Default OT: Anyone in the deli meat business?

I am in the middle of purchasing a deli meat and provisions route from someone and was wondering if any OSO'ers either own a route themselves or own a deli? Love to hear any feedback, comments, suggestions.

Thanks.

Hey Dave - I unfortunately in my previous life was the KING of selling "dead animals in pretty packages"

I worked for ConAgra and did the sales and marketing for Butterball, Healthy Choice, Armour, Eckrich, etc.... (the horror...I'm having flashbacks I know a considerable amount about the DSD business.

Call me tomorrow 732-477-6157 and I will tell you anything I can recall from those dark dark days in the food industry
