OT: DVD Camcorder

I am thinking about buying one.
Anyone have one and can tell me the pros and cons.
Which is the best? etc

Consumer Reports just did an article on them, as well as other Camcorders.
I'm considering one too, but might just opt to get a DV and burn my own DVDs w/ the PC.

I am facing the same dillema stormrider, Ilike the fact that you can go from the camera to the DVD player

I just bought the canon optura 20 , got it today . didnt use it yet . conumer reports didnt give it a great review but alot of web sites did , a freind has one and loves it . check out this web site. http://www.dvspot.com/
