Default Envision 3200 Illusion Info

I took my buddy, David and his wife to the Scope poker run in Havasu last weekend (actually, he pulled my boat out for me as I was working in Vegas/Phoenix). He has had fast boats in the past (flats) but hasn't had one for a few years. He wants to get another boat (performance boat) and wanted his wife to go for a ride and see if she liked it.

Well, after riding in my little Baja and then watching Tank blow my doors off she wants a fast boat! And then she saw all the Cigs, Skaters, Formulas, etc in the channel and she wants a big boat too (with fancy paint). So much to his delight, David is now looking for a big fast boat

He called me and asked about a 3200 Illusion by Envision. He says it has low hours and is a super clean boat. I looked up their website and it looks like a nice boat but have never heard of them before. Anyone have any input on these? The seller says it will do 65 on GPS with twin 7.4 Mags (385HP). How is it in bigger water?

How much for the Envision Illusion?

I got a 1998 Fever 32 for David - $80k.
It'll run 80. I live in Huntington Beach.

You got a PM.

Roux,

Seller is asking $45K. I don't know what David's budget is but I know he would like 80MPH!

I'll pass the info along to him. I'm trying to get him to join OSO so he can look for himself.

Okay, I found out the seller is asking $50K. David thinks he can get it for $45. He sea (lake) trialing it this morning. The seller doesn't want to put it in salt so they are taking it to Elsenore. It does seem pretty reasonably priced for a 32 footer with twin power. It's a 1995 model.

It deffinately doesn't have that off shore race boat look though. He (and his wife) like the looks of my Outlaw and I think they want something racing with flashy paint. I'm trying to keep him from getting too eager and making sure he is getting what he (they) really want.

I agree. It's a nice boat but doesn't have the right look (or performance) for me. I'm going to try to talk him into waiting but he has a young son so I think the well appointed cabin appeals to him. I think he and his wife would like something more performance oriented.

He liked a lot of the So Cal customs he saw in Havasu: Nodic, Magic, Warlock, etc. and he liked my Outlaw. There are going to be a lot of great deals between now and spring. I should have gone with him this morning to keep him from over reacting. I think he is afraid he will miss out on a good deal. We'll see, he may end up on the boards here!

Well, he just bought the Envision. He said it ran so well, very quick to plane, very smooth and stable ride. Just over 100 hours on the boat and everything is like new. Hope to get a ride soon.

Here is a photo from the Envision website.
