Question o/t Did the Cubs blow a lead or what??

Good grief......8th inning it was 3-0 cubs, what the heck happened. I saw a lot of celebrating so I flipped the channel for a sec.....flip back and it's 3-3 and getting worse. People in the stands are just stonefaced as was I. Boy did they blow a lead. I wonder who's gonna take it tonight?

I think it was all my fault! It was 3-0 Cubs and i figured they had it so i took a qiuck trip to the store to get some food.....come back to 4-3 marlins! and it got worse from there! Actually i think its all staged to a point...i mean just think about how much revenue come in from additional games to the local vendors and to the park etc...... but who knows!

It's not his fault. The Cubs are chokers. They should have never been in that position in the first place. They had 9 innings to win that game. I thought it was hillarious.

I'm not argueing the fact that they are chokers! I think the announcers mentioned the cubs choked on 67% of the games when they are behind 3 or more points.........but the fact still remains.....why would you interfere as a fan of your own team when the possibility of getting an out is there? ......It was a marlin hit and most times i see the fans throw the ball back in the field if its from the opposing team?....so again why interfere?

I just think it's ironic it was a hapless Cub fan who contributed to their demise in the 8th inning. It also looks as if the underachiever mentality still remains in Boston as well. Marlins/Yanks will be a yawner unless the Marlins can pull a Mets saga from '68 and pull amiracle. Otherwise, screw the series....

I think the poor guy was looking at the ball and never saw Alou. I think he is going to have a very tough time with it and I feel sorry for him. Did anyone see his face the rest of the game?

PS I am not a Marlins fan and would love to see the Cubs in the series only to be spanked by the Yankees

TV will dictate that the Cubbies play the Yankees.

The Yankees win in 6

I think the critical play was the error by the Cubs shortstop..
