speed differance in hulls

if you took 2 boats identical in weight , engines , length, etc, but one is a step hull the other conventinal, which would be faster?

glassdave 10-17-2003 10:47 AM

step hulls faster, with the air under there freeing up the hull.

Some builders have done a better job with their step designs than others. Overall, step hulls should see a bit of an advantage in smoother water, but there are those that question whether the change in handling is worth the potential gain. I'd say that the jury is still out. --- Jer

But Superman can fly on his own. Batman needs machines. Superman is better. But Batman is cooler.

Batman is cooler? No way. Superman can fly on his own, has xray vision, and doesn't have a "gay little" partner!:p

Superman is waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy cooler.

Superman and Batman are just characters, Spiderman is a 39' Skater V bottom. Spiderman wins.
