    OT - recycle bin ??

    Can anybody tell me how to retrieve a MSworks spreadsheet that was sent to the recycle bin and the recycle bin was cleared out? This is on a Windows 98 computer.

    Thanks for any help

    Uhhhh....I believe that you are sol. Your only hope is that the program creates a backup of it's self. I'm doubting that it does.

    there is no way unless you backed it up somewere else.

    The only way you can is to have a data recovery center retrieve it for you. Don't run any utility maintenance such as scan disc, clean disc or defrag until you do. The file is still there but could be written over at anytime. If it is very important turn off the machine and locate a data recovery pro. Your I.T. team can do that for you.
