I said except for the top 2 they were not in order in my top ten list. And I said I know Fountain can build a boat as good as OL so why won't he even if he just builds ten bad a$$ ones a year and the other 490 the way he has been doing it. Maybe if he did you wouldn't have to pay 800k to OL or Nor-Tech to get killer boat.

Dude don't worry about the $ RF has to cough up for a couple of motors...Mercury and him are very tight now.
As for the boats being the same old same old since 96....wrong, RF changes his bottom designs like Ex wifes.
If OL is #1 and Fountain is #2....who is #3?

never count Reggie out, because life is always up and down at times. I am also glad to see a little competition out there it is good for the sport, but I will bet he will be back looking for the kilo record real soon. anyone here wanting to bet against him for a little cash???? I'm not a big time fountain fan but the man knows boats and racing

I like Fountains and Outerlimits. You would think by reading some of these posts that Reggie set the record in one of the 500 per year production boats. Wasn't it a full race layup?
Keep in mind that the 42 OL "Can you hear me now" that set the record is a poker run boat that just weeks earlier was taking people for rides after our fun run. Yeah its got big power but so what. Is that considered cheating?

big horsepower is not cheating at all, but a lot of todays poker run boats are just about a race boat, and also a lot of X race boats are now poker run boats, speed is all about money, if you want to go fast you have to have a lot of cash
