Here is the new GM cowl induction hood. This hood was not original to the car, but I liked it. Besides, it was offered in following years. The color is not original either, but I liked it. Like the hood, this color was available in the following years.

Since this car had been butchered over the years and the numbers no longer match, I am not too worried about being original. I am just doing the car to taste. I only made two other non-original changes. We installed a power rack and pinion (removing the factory steering box) and we converted the car to 4 wheel disc brakes.

Here is the original 327. We rebuilt it and cleaned it up to make it look nice. We added the aluminum pulleys for looks and to change to serpentine belts.

I too have had to pull stuff out of shops in the last year, no fkn integrity anymore. Whenever I get that gut feeling, I show up.
