My first post was concerning new models only

daven, my 28 Cigarette will not go near as fast, or ride near as smooth as its 35ft, big brother and I never expect it to becasue of the SIZE difference.

Longer hull = smoother ride

Longer hull = generally a bigger engine compartment to fit bigger motors to make bigger boat go faster.

Any Questions?

As for the 36 being a the best hull that Baja has ever built, I know a lot of people that have worked there, built, and driven theese boats for years, and I think that they will all tell you that the 36 IS NOT the best boat they ever built

I like the 40 Outlaw!

This is the bottom for the new Baja 399 in a lightweight layup with Baja's own deck design.
Should be interesting since only a dozen or so will be made.

daven,
Since you've enlightened us,
can you recommend me an "entry level"
pontoon to buy ?

It has 2 requirements:

1. Allow me to have the same amount of
fun as my friends, with their "premium"
pontoons do.

2. Provide good performance and dependability
that I'm accustom to.

Oh, one last thing,

It's got to ride and handle like something that's
5 foot longer and 2000 #'s heavier than it is.

Now back to the topic of discussion.

I thought the Skater/Baja thing was
dead more than a year ago.

Is it being ressurrected

After 7 years with BAJA we can truly state that they are an entry level boat. The best boat they have ever created was the 36 OUTLAW. The 30 OUTLAW does not have the ride or the handling that the 36 does, as far as layout if the ride and speed are not there why go for it, a pontoon will do the same thing.
How interesting that the individual that we purchased our baja from in 2001 is now bashing the brand.....so much for your a$$ kissing dave !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you will come to regret your post.
Now I don't feel bad at all about telling perspective "Sonic" customers about how you really are.
Have a nice day......

Well, at least I know there is one customer that you do not wish to pi$$ off. Absolutely no offense intended to that one customer, he knows who he is!!!!!

If you're going to brand Baja an "entry level boat" then what does that say about you, since Baja took the line away and gave it to another dealer!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez.........quite a turn around, after the call to M and the offer of free winterization on our Baja, now you show another side.

I wonder how this will affect your Sonic sales, since some of your potential buyers are current or former Baja owners!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone say "open mouth insert foot and rest of body"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
