Jo and Pepe won today at Key West in the new Pantera 35 !!
From what I undersatnd the boat performed flawlessly
in 6 ft seas.
Jo and Pepe it's been a year of up's and down's but you guys did it!!! Congratulations !! :D

To be honest I don't know how many F-2 boats were in today's race.
But on the flip side the Pantera 35 was running REAL close to the Super V's and in 6+ seas.
I was only able to speak to Pepe briefly as we had a bad connection.

Two boats in F-2
Pantera and Speedwear. Word is, one more lap and Pantera would of lapped speedwear.

Thats a plus, considering speedwear was the team to beat last year.

Jo gave me a call on his way back from KW tonight...
He's usually fairly quiet.... No tonight!
The guys did a great job. We can't wait for this weekend.

I knew that boat was a winner, all it needed was operators that work well and run hard together!

The weather was real squalls all afternoon, 20-25 kts nw winds.
Jo and Pepe handled the 35 flawlessly, made it look so easy......while all the other boats were spending a lot of time looking at the sky, the Pantera punched through the 6-10 foot seas like it was on rails..........skill, experience, and last but not least a great boat!
They were catching the super vees, finishing fourth overall I believe.
