Hey Guys,

looks like Xmas might come early for us this year. I'm getting an offer from a major technology company and Tampa relocation seems very promising.

My wife and I are coming down in early Jan. so I can give her the lay of the land. We only have the weekend. I have not been there in 6 years myself. We are going to check out Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs.

Any other suggestions that would allow me to give her a good feel and flavour of the place? I can do without the tourista spots. We want to know what it's like to live there.

Thanx!

Very cool, shooter! We'll keep out fingers crossed for you. Good luck with the job.

Both areas are very nice, less touristy. If you're making your way to Tarpon, check out New Port Ritchie, and Holiday.

Close to Palm Harbor, look into Oldsmar as well.

I have spent alot of time there over the past few years already have a job lined up and have been looking for houses. This snow stuff here sucks whis I was there already! Hope you guys will show me around some of the performance areas as my Aunt and Uncle who live there are just into big slow boats.

Hi Guys,

Again, thanx for the help and info. Like I said, we are coming down in two weeks to check out the neighborhoods. I think Palm Harbor is the spot, mostly the Eastlake area seem what we want.

I need to check out the Marinas that would be close and put me on the Gulf. Any come to mind? We would like to visit one or two th get the sketch. I have a Baja 302 (If I don't sell it with the house first). Rack and store is the way to go for me...

The Tampa - St. Pete area is the place to be.
If I hadn't just refinanced I'd be looking to sell and head west myself.
I have had enough of these damn Disney tourists.
