CIGARETTE the name?
 

Ok I just got back from Key West and I have to say that every NON boating person kept saying that they were going to watch the CIGARETTE boats race.

My question is why was the company named CIGARETTE because they are long, white n skinny on the water that's what they look like?

don named his boat after a infamous rum runner off the jersey shore... the boat was called the cigarette

Cigarette seems to have set the industry standard for offshore boats, and I gotta say that the 38 flat-deck we bought last March has made the transition from cruisers to offshore boats very easy.
