Popeyes,
In the past some members have met up and had parties on the East coast during winter. Tammy and I don't have connections to put on a good party but you obviously do.Would you be interested in having an OSO party in New Orleans?I know we would certainly appreciate looking at any old pictures, movies, etc. you would care to share with us.Team ATC is in Lafayette and maybe could come too.Not to mention the gcoffshore.com crowd. I assume you are pretty tight with Al Copeland. Maybe a party at Copelands Bistro in Metaire?Take prepaid reservations for dinner and a benchracing,BSing session.I think it would kick ass.Just kicking the idea out to you. Thanks,Jim and Tammy

That's a great idea!! We could do something here at the house (we have a pretty large spread) or at the banquet room at the Copeland's in Lafayette or Houma. (We are part owners of both of those)
I know Big Al has a ton of memorabillia, and I could contact Kit Wohl too to see what she still has.
Upstairs I have about 50 VHS tapes of old races and interviews and I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow to start converting them all to DVD.
Sounds like a great idea, and something to do in the winter when it's to cold to go boating!!
What month would be good? January or February????
We've had events here at the house with 500 people or more, so we should be okay on space here. And I could always get Copeland's to cater it.....
Ideas????
