NJPPC Atlantic City Poker Run and...
Who says you can't have fun when you get wet?
What a great event it was this weekend!
I want to thank our guys from POWERBOAT MAGAZINE for making the trip all the way out east to cover this event. It was a spectacular air show with the helicopter flying above us all. I never seen anyone fly the way this man did. Great job guys!!! Can't wait to see the upcoming article due out either Sept or October issue.
Thanks again NJPPC for a great start of the season! Now I know for sure DaveP doesn't have full control over the weather. Had me wondering over the years how each event was always sunny. Rain or Shine, it was just plain great!
Special thanks to WooHoo & CSpray for leading us through the southern channels!
My wife's first time out on a Poker Run, I think we have her hooked! At first I called her my "rev limiter". (Cause she didn't want me going too fast.) After explaining and showing her that in certain conditions you are better off running a little faster than slower and how the ride can improve with speed, she got more relaxed. She was a great sport all weekend!
Now I have to work on her boat handling skills....
She is willing to help out with the boat, so that is a great start!
It was great to see everyone again!

We had a blast
It was great to get together with the NJPPC crew again. Dave and the many other volunteers put on a top notch event, Thank You All.

A HUGE Thank You to Thunder Dan and his lovely wife Barbara for inviting Christine and I to ride with them. We had a blast.

Sharkey; it was great to see you there and meet the Mrs. I know what an enthusiast you are and its great to be able to share your passion with your family......now maybe in a few years we will see you daughter out there with you.

A few years??? Hell, I was already telling my wife maybe we should have our daughter on the next Barnegat Bay Poker Run!
