Default Mercury Maximus prop -

Yep, after much delay Merc is finally shipping the new 5 blade. We have 30's in stock, should have the 26, 28 and 32's right after new year.

How much should you go down or up in pitch from the standard Bravo 1 prop?? I run a 24P and a 26P that Throttle Up labbed for me. Would you stay in the same pitch range for the Maximus??

I remember reading the write up on the prop in Powerboat and they tested the Maximus 32P against the 32P Bravo I prop which is why I asked. Just curious.

I've been wrong before Trout, but I thought the maximus was smaller than the B1.

Default The Maximus 5-Blade...

As well as the Bravo XR Drives, are recommended by Mercury Hi-Performance, to be used in a surfacing drive, 90 plus M.P.H. applications... Dennis Cavanaugh sent me a set of prototype 15 1/2" X 32" Maximus props about five months ago. Beautiful props! Ed
