Default Aluminum or stainless plates

I need to make a suface to mount some new cleats to - anyone know of a source for 1/4" stainless or 3/8" aluminum? I'm looking to cut out (8) pieces that measure 4" x 8". If anyone knows where to start looking I'd appreciate the help.

Thanks - if you can get me their number that would be great. I'm trying to replace some existing cleats that are recessed into the deck. The measure 4 x 8 and I want to make a deck plate out of aluminum or stainess and then mount a pop up cleat onto that. the current cleats really suck.

Look in the phonebook for machine shops or sheetmetal fabricators. I use one that has a CNC wter jet. They can cut anything. We fabricate things all the time at work, simple plates, probably predrilled should be no problem for any sheetmetal shop. All you need is a print and maybe not even that.

Found it. The place is called MMS & Accessories. Phone 770-386-5772. They made some stainless cover plates for me for a reasonable price. They're on the web www.mmsacc-stainless.com
