Cig Revolution project

Here is a Cig Revolution that has been pretty well trashed. What a shame.

I think the 18' thing is a misprintRevolution at NL

Anyone know this boat?

JROMY 12-01-2003 11:05 AM

Don't know the boat, but it seems like you would almost have to try to trash the thing that badly.

yikes that baby is humble . . . for the right price could be a nice project. course that price would hafta be wayyyyy low. how big were those, like 46's or somthing.

SS930 12-01-2003 11:58 AM

Anyone have the asking price?

Revolutions are 42'. Wonder what condition the hull is in? Either a stolen recovered or someone wasn't happy that is was getting repossessed.

If you are looking for a good one at a fair price I have a 1991 Revolution 3 x 500 Freshwater Boat since re-rigged in 96.

If you give National Liqidators a call they will tell you what range you will have to bid. Most times they have a minimum bid posted, but not on this one for some reason.

DJD 12-01-2003 01:19 PM

I just spoke with them.
Minimum price is $25,000.
Yeikes!
It has two seized motors & one fuel & water contaminated one. Drives are missing. Needs complete cockpit & most gauges are shot. Trim pumps missing, some exhaust manifolds missing, two intakes missing, paint is faded with numerous scratches, rub rail bent, chipped etc etc etc.................
Sounds to me like it needs a good fire to fix it up:rolleyes:

Miller 12-01-2003 01:23 PM

DJD, wait a month and they'll be happy to take $18-$20k. You can then probably put that thing back together for less than it would cost to buy one in great shape.

Looks like we found you a X-mas present (as Austin Powers might say; "to yourself...from yourself")! :D

Yep, and whoever did that to it needs to be the match. What a waste  :(
