OT: Need a tarp 5 feet by 11 feet, any good sources?
A buddy of mine located in VA Beach, is trying to finish building an elaborate swing set/jungle gym for his son who is a little past his 1st birthday. The last piece he needs is a tarp 5x11.
My buddy is an active duty military officer (has done duty in both Afghanistan and Iraq) without a ton of money to spend. He's been quoted as much as $270 locally for one. Now, he doesn't need anything elaborate, just nice enough to cover the top of the fort like area of the jungle gym structure. Does anyone sell tarps in this size or have one in stock? It would be great if you could let me know.
Thanks.

He was hoping to get one already hemmed and ready to use. I don't think he wants to have to source one and then also find a place to cut it to fit and then hem the edges.
Don't know specifically about Home Depot's version either. But, I do know he went to Loews and Home Depot and came away empty handed. Don't understand why the kit he's using didn't come with one but he is SOL at the moment and really wants to set it up right for his son.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah. I think a canvas guy who can cut a tarp and finish the edges without necessarily using Sunbrella or similar but perhaps a step down would be perfect. I'm sure someone has something that they could make this from at a reasonable price. If not, I'd be surprised.

Im in the landscaping business and we go thru tarps like crazy. That is an odd size that's going to have to be made. If you know anyone in landscaping , construction or tree work in your area, ask them. They can lead to the right place to have one made. If not i enclosed a link to a website that a buddy of mine has used in the past.
Good luck...........

I used shrink wrap on mine until I saved the $$ for sunbrella. Mine in 8 x 12. I still shrink wrap the entire "fort" area for the winter but the kids still have access up the rope or ladder. Keeps it nice an toasty so they can use it all winter long.
