What About a 30' Cat running those speeds. If it was totally
safe there would be no blood rush!!!! Life short play HARD.
How many people die a year in high speed power boats?
About the same as in a car every 15 minutes.

Hey Keith-
That being said, I don't know if I have the balls to ride with you in your Shadow Cat! You still need to teach me how to use the tunnel tab tho.

Got any video of your Shadow at speed?

The difference is not placing innocent people in danger. If you want to run a 160mph then head on out to the ocean and have at it....... The issue here is running in Havasu in sections of the water that are relatively narrow and silly speeds. The video shows him and many other boat charging down on a number of pleasure boats at crazy speeds. Cool or not is was tremendously unsafe........ and just the kind of thing that would result in litigation that would ensure that the promoter, the boats owners and every one even standing by would be broke by the time it was over. That would suck. (Although I would take predator as a portion of my contingency fee....)

"Law Man" you have a great point and not to be taken lightly.....As a boater in the Poker run I would ASS-U-ME that everyone on the lake would be aware what was going on...my bad...but I didn't see anyone on that video clip that came within harms reach....except the guy who tried to catch him and did somethin' crazy across his wake..

I am glad I didn't post the comment I was going to then, at 150 plus it's usually a bad idea to do.
Gary and his Skater, home town boy done good.

We could discuss this point until everyone would want
someones ass.Give me some statistics. How many people
die from performance boats being in the wrong? I have
been to my fare share of performance poker runs in
twenty years and have never seen a fatality. On the other
hand I drive into NewOrleans every day it feels like I'm
racing in the 500.Cars flipping over spinning out
you name it, all happing while driving in the same direction.

Could the poker runs in same areas be safer? Sure but
must of the run abouts like to watch no different than a
offshore race coarse. Its not like we drive that way everyday.
Our great nation controls to much of what is done already,
lets hope they don't ruin performance boating!!!!!!!!Don"t
get me started on insurance company's.

HI John, anytime I don't own the shadow anymore, hows
your Jaguar coming?
