Arneson Surface Drives
 

Anyone know where to find the correct props to fit the shaft for these surface drives? Looking for something around 16.5 diameter and 27 or 28 pitch. Any surface drivers out there would be a great help to me.

How many spline are they ?
I think real arnesons shafts are 24 or 25.
Mine have 19 spline like the "Small" shaft speed master drives . This makes it easier to find props . WHat do you have ? Joe

Also ,you can buy an adapter sleave to go from the Arneson shaft to the more popular speed master style shaft . Joe

The boat has the asd-6 and has the 19 spline. I talked to Rik Wimp and he told me that I needed the 16.5 diameter and 27 or 28 pitch props. The props on it right now are 19 diameter by 24 or 25 and elephant ears. The reason these props are on it were we tried other props but they never got the boat on plane. Rebuilt the motors and have about 1100 hp and only get 65 mph out of it but the motors are turning at 6500 rpm or more who knows. So we need some new props and get this baby roaring.

I have some 19 spline 29 pitch three blade if you are interested.They have been worked a little and actually are closer to 28.And I believe they are in th 15 inch diameter range.Give me a call at 678-522-4873.

What size boat and what power were u running with these props?

I have a few sets of props for that shaft give me a call.
