GlassD...you're right on Eddie, he took the stagnant quitar playing world and turned it on its head. It needed a good kick in the butt. I don't like most of their stuff either, but top ten for sure.
SuperT...I understand what your saying, there are more factors (mostly hype) contributing to his fame than just guitar playing, I just don't see him in the top 10 "Greatest Guitar Players". He's been stuck in the same pentatonic mode for 30 years and his playing sounds the same today as it did 20 years ago, blues based riffs. I'd like to see a top ten player stretching themselves a bit more than Clapton did or has. IMHO

You are right on the money!
Pop culture moves quickly...very quickly!
Dave Navarro is a great guitar player with a very unique sound, and Jane's Addiction helped shape the sound of contemporary rock music...He also happens to be a really good guy! A solid human being...
It is a very unfortunate picture of him, I have to say.
By the way, they have had multi platuinum success....so people who like this kind of music know exactly who they are...

I have seen Dave within top 100 lists..just depends on who is compiling the data and what it is based on. I don't know how he could be missed or overlooked. WITH A HEAD LIKE THAT.!!
I agree Fred....Carmen who ?

Guys, you disappoint me.
Rodman's sloppy seconds or not, Carmen is hot property.
I'd sell her a cellphone in a heartbeat.
As far as Navarro's "loaf o bread" head: he needs to go to one of those head shrinkers or something.
