Joker, I've never been in a sit down boat. Do you get banged up by not having your legs to use as shock absorbers? How is re entry after catching air?
And - good point about the flat screen ending up on the floor. I hit one wave out in the Sound this summer that blew my head unit completely out of the cradle. (I have a new one in now)

Rich:
That has to be one of your better posts for sure , thanks.

Sitting down is the only way to go in my eyes. You are not only out of the wind , you get connected with the boat. I have foot rests recessed in the dash that you can push with your feet which enables you to take the pressure off your spine , your kinda suspended in the seat. All the big guns are going to sitdowns OL , Cigarette , Fountain , etc. One thing you have to remember is that I'm used to running at WOT and not wakeboarding and cruising at 50 mph. We abuse our equipment racing to make sure our customers boats never exceed anything we haven't already experienced. BH

28 Pantera.
8ft beam
large cockpit and cabin
built like a tank
excellent ride at any speed
Awesome factory support a phone call away
I picked it because it is so versatile.
Not the fastest boat because of its design and weight but it is extremely roomy and rides amaizingly well at all speeds in any water conditions

27 Activator
I'm partial because I own one. Nothing runs in the rough like an Activator. Mark's boats speak for themselves. He's a great guy and will lay out the cabin/cockpit any way you like. Uses the best materials.
