Default paint

the paint on the boat and trailer was absolutely amazing! I am a painter and even all the seams on the trailer were filled and faired, it was/is AWESOME!

this boat is supposed to be able to go 130

he built another boat I am trying to find pics of called the falcon, it was a 38' aluminum v offshore, it had a canard wing on the front , as well as a wing that was the top of the arch that were attatched to a helicopter gyroscope, arneson drives, twin blown engines, kinda kewl stuff, I will try to find the pics just so you can see this beast lol. it was /is being sold at the same auction

i don't like aluminum for a boat hull. i've cracked sponsons right down the weld running in the big chop on the great lakes. tied up to the dock and the lines kept the boat from sinking. it seems to fatigue quickly when running in rough water. i think repairing aluminum boats are easier than fiberglass, but my guys weld on steel and aluminum and don't do fibergalss work.

what do i know, most of my boating is done on tug boats.

I cant stop looking at these pic's, what a beautiful design. I agree about the length, looks longer than 42'.

So this is the only one of it's kind? Any idea what it sold for at the auction?

Default Interesting

Those are aircraft seats and cost some serious coin.
The boat is set up for twin shaft drives and rudders.
I am curious as to who designed the hull, there looks like at least four steps per sponson.

It's going to take some serious power to get that thing to triple digits.
