Thumbs down Beware BryStar Yacht and boat sales

What a bunch of knuckleheads.
After several calls and emails, I was told "we have a deal" on a "super clean" boat.
Spent a weekend from hell getting there and back..the boat wouldnt start or steer when I got there, I had to put the fluids in it..EMPTY drive trim and power steering pumps. Waited an hour and a half for a new battery. After stalling around for a week and a half trying to get more money out of me, I finally told them forget it.
Stay away from these bait an switch dudes...bad news!!!

Dan

Dan, what did you go there to see? Is there a web link to show what their claims are\were? I hate wasting time looking at crap.

I also went a long distance from Florida to New Orleans one weekend to look at a 94 35' Cafe Racer. It was suppose to be a nice boat. Not a broker. Flew all that way, to look at an abused piece of junk. Took if for a ride anyway since we were there. Got out of the boat, and said it is not for me. The guy couldn't understand why not. I said to him, where is the boat I came to look at? He said, which one, I said the nice one you told me about, not this one.

Also spoke to someone at BryStar Yacht and Boat Sales about the "95" 35' Cafe Racer they had for sale. Made an offer over the phone, they told me no. Two weeks later they changed the year to a 94 on boat trader, probably the same boat you looked at. Glad I didn't waste my money going to Texas for more B.S. Some people can't tell it like it is.
