Default My Dads starting the year off the hard way!

Quite a few of the West Michigan guys have met my father seeing that I build most of my motors in the garage behind his house. Today he found out that he needs open heart surgery. I know thats its a pretty routine surgery these days but it still makes me real nervous....Its going to be January 2 2004 so for those of you that believe could you please say a little prayer for him. I don't know what I would do without him.
Don

I'm sure everything will go smoothly Don.
And a speedy recovery to your Dad.

That's too bad Dyno. My dad had open heart surgery a few years ago. Luckily, everything went just fine, but it was a little nerve wracking. I'll be sure to say a prayer for him.

Don,

my dad had heart surgery approximately 11 years ago, I know what you are feeling because I was scared chitless...thank God everything went well and he is doing great! these surgeries have very high success rates these days and I'm sure your dad will be yelling at you soon to clean up the mess in the garage... good luck and a speedy recovery to your dad...

Best of luck! My grandpa was on the receiving end in the mid 80's. The surgury was so controvercial that they had to try several doctors before they found one that was willing to try it. He came out fine and I'm sure your dad will too.

Hey Don, I had a neibhor who had this, he is 70+ and was home in 3 days and walking right away. When you catch it at this stage you are really reducing the risk of complications. This is like changing the oil in your boat. If you do it before there is a problem, that problem will not surface. I thought I would put this in a context we can relate to. He will be in my prayers and will be just fine.
