Northpoint Marina in Winthrop Harbor. I live in Kankakee and do the tow. And yes, I think that Chicago is boater unfriendly. At least ''Richey" has`nt filled in the harbors under the cover of darkness yet.

North - Northpoint in Winthrop Harbor is a great place and the price is right.
South - Hammond on a lift seems to be the way to go.
Waukegan does I/O at Larsen Marine, but they can only take up to a 26 foot boat? Mostly fishermen. Northpoint is only another couple of miles.

37' Outerlimits, downtown Chicago-easy to play hooky from work and get a quick boat ride in and easy drive home. I was hoping Oasis would be the solution. Whats easier, less expensive: put on and remove bottom paint or buy hydro hoist or sell (give away) boat. Thanks for the help.
