NICE SITE !!!!!!!!

rchevelle71 12-23-2003 08:33 AM

Nice site, but how about some prices!!!!

Not that I have the $$$$ to buy anything from ya right now, but a lot of us like to comparison shop online before headin out to buy. I just think if someone had an idea of the price, and you were truly competitive you might get more people through the front door.

CustomRigger101 12-23-2003 08:39 AM

i agree 71.. i like to see pricing on the site too..

Chart 12-23-2003 08:52 AM

MHO: The text color and the back ground color are not easy to read, (the text does not stand out from the back ground) and the "link bar" on the left side looks busy with all the different fonts and colors and shading.

I really like the mulitiple pictures of the few boat listings I sampled.

I like the site but have to agree about the pricing. I hate when it says call for price. We all know this stuff is expensive no need to hide it. just my .02

Chart is correct.....
The text needs to be of a more contrasting color and the vertical link bar is too bold, too bright. It draws your attention away from the center text.
Otherwise all links worked and looked good.

i have to agree , need prices.
like alot of us im on a limited budget so i wont even call if there isnt a price. i make the asumption if you have to ask its out of my range.

Actually, thats the end result desired for not listing pricing. It forces the phone call, allowing the retailer to open up a better possibility of obtaining a sale. There may also be a similar product that the retailer has that is not listed on line or in an ad that may better suit that callers needs / wants / budget / whatever that the retailer can advise them on at that time. The downside to it is that it to some people you seem standoffish and somewhat snobby. Are these the customers in this particular cases target market ? Probably not. In this particular case, someone that is borderline "do I want to afford that ?" is not going to call. The person that wants / is looking for a purple Diablo VT and see's that you have one is going to call no matter what. This method works for certain products, it doesnt for others.
